Ratan Tata pledges Rs 1500 cr in support to combat against COVID-19


In a tweet on March 28, Ratan Tata shared a post detailing how Tata Trusts and the group companies will help India to combat against  COVID-19.

He said  " The COVID-19 crisis is one of the toughest challenges we will face as a race . The Tata Trusts and The group companies have in  the past rises to the needs of the nation. At this moment, the need of the hours is greater than any other time. 

Ratan Tata first announced rs 500 crores to help Corona The money will be spent in five sectors, that is - 1. Buy health care equipment for health workers, 2. Buy respiratory testing equipment for the infected, 3. To provide training for health workers and the general public to buy more medical examination equipment, 4. Improve medical infrastructure and raise awareness of the virus.And after that, Tata Sons decided to donate another Rs 1,000 crore. Ratan Tata gave Rs 1500 crore to Corona to deal with it.(source from:https://twitter.com/RNTata2000)
