Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the stage after the ground-breaking ceremony at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Wednesday. There he compared the long history of the establishment of the Ram temple with the freedom struggle of India. He said, "August 15 is a day to remember the freedom fighters of India, just as today is a day to remember the generations who sacrificed their lives for the establishment of the Ram Temple."
Modi said that Ram is actually a symbol of unity. He said that just as all the people worked together for the victory of Lord Rama, just as all the people of the country stood by Ganjiji in the freedom struggle against the British, today the efforts of the people to build the Ram temple were successful.

After many years of efforts, the Prime Minister seems to be a bit emotional after finally starting the construction of Ram Mandir. He said, "Our Ramlala has been living in a tent here for many years. Today is the beginning of building a temple for him. Breaking down and rising aHe commemorated the Ram Mandir and all those involved in the Ayodhya movement. "Many generations have given their lives during our freedom movement," he said. At that time there were movements everywhere against the British rule. Many people sacrificed their lives.
